1 oz Gold Britannia
One troy ounce of fine gold in the Royal Mint’s flagship bullion coin. Most dealers sell it as random-year stock and choose the date for you; where a dealer’s price is for the 2026 coin specifically, the row says so.
No dealer has the 1 oz Britannia in stock at a confirmed delivered price right now. Every dealer we hold a price or a product page for is listed below.

Britannias struck from 2013 onwards are 999.9 fine; 1987–2012 coins are 916.7 fine in a heavier 22 carat alloy. Both contain exactly one troy ounce of fine gold, so the metal value and every premium below are the same either way. Every dealer above states a 2013-or-later range on their own page, which is why the purity is given as a single figure.
How these figures are worked out
The delivered total is the dealer’s quantity-one price plus their UK postage. Where we could not read a postage figure it is shown as not confirmed, and that offer is left out of the cheapest-delivered ranking rather than being treated as free delivery.
The premium is the gap between the delivered total and the value of the gold in the coin. It is not the dealer’s profit: it covers minting, distribution, insurance and dealing costs as well as their margin.
Random-year and 2026 coins are ranked together because both hold the same troy ounce of fine gold, and the current-year coin occasionally undercuts secondary-market stock. The edition column says which is which on every row, and a pre-order is labelled as one — it is not stock you can have this week. Full methodology.
Prices and availability can change. Confirm the final total with the dealer before ordering. GoldSorted is an independent price comparison service and does not sell bullion or give financial advice.
