How it works
Methodology
A short explanation of the comparison GoldSorted provides today: one mixed-year Full Sovereign from UK dealers.
How dealers are ranked
The main table ranks currently available Sovereigns by the cost of buying one coin and having it delivered in the UK. The lowest confirmed delivered total appears first.
Pre-order, out-of-stock, stale and availability-unknown readings remain visible for reference, but cannot be promoted as the cheapest offer available now.
What “delivered” includes
Delivered price is the advertised coin price plus the UK postage we can confirm for that dealer. If postage is not known, no delivered total is invented and the offer is kept out of the cheapest-price ranking.
The dealer’s own basket remains the final price. Check it before ordering.
Prices, stock and freshness
Dealer product pages are checked on a schedule and every row shows when it was last confirmed. An unchanged page still advances its check time; a failed collection does not get mistaken for “out of stock”. Old readings are shown separately and excluded from the current ranking.
Gold and silver prices come from stored server-side market readings. Browser visits do not call a pricing provider directly.
